Bearcats snag Jenifer
Playing with Team Takeover over the summer, Justin Jenifer has had a very solid of things. After an official visit to Cincinnati, Jenifer selected the program. "Yes I have committed to Cincinnati," said Jenifer. "I've been watching them for at least two years now. They have been recruiting me for a long time so I have been keeping an eye on them and I like how they play and how they use their guards." According to Jenifer the visit was really what sealed the deal for him. "When I took my visit there was a wow factor," explained Jenifer. "When I went there I saw the support system they had for their players, so I knew there would be nothing to worry for my parents." At the end of the day the 5-foot-10 Jenifer wanted to go to a place that he could play right away, and Cincinnati he feels is that place. "They say I am coming in and playing as a freshman," said Jenifer. "That is real big, I was excited when they told me that. They like that I can come in and play and distribute the ball, and I think I can keep helping them win a lot of games from day one." Jenifer's high school coach Mike Silverman says his point guard will definitely fit in with what UC Head Coach Mick Cronin likes to do. "I've seen Cincinnati a lot, and I think Justin fits in well," said Silverman. "He is aggressive on defense and his speed on the ball is above and beyond the normal kid so I think he will fit in very well with Coach Cronin and what he likes to do."
