Preston Ross Profile

Preston Ross, a 6-foot-4 forward out of Fayetteville (N.C.) 71st, is headed to the Southern Conference.

"Preston made a verbal commitment to Western Carolina University this weekend," 71st coach David Simmons said.

Ross ran with the CP3 All-Stars last summer and attended the Carolina Challenge. An energetic forward with a big motor, he's a top student as well. The Citadel was also involved in his recruitment.
