Dennis Latimore
Ht: 6-8 Wt: 238 PPG: 1.9
Position: PF
Class: Sophomore
High School: Halstead HS
(Halstead, KS)
College: Notre Dame

Biography:
As a freshman, Latimore was switched to the power forward position and looked uncomfortable there at times. Averaging a mere 10.9 minutes per game, Latimore never got into his rhythm.

During this summer's Australia tour, however, Latimore played over 27 minutes per contest and responded by averaging 10.8 points and 7.4 rebounds per game while shooting nearly 55% from the field. He is expected to play an expanded role in 2002-03 for the Wildcats, if for no other reason than to take advantage of his massive rebounding skills.

Had a career-high 12 points in Arizona's 99-51 rout of California on the regular season's final day. Members of the coaching staff at Arizona have been quoted as saying that "Dennis Latimore is going to be scary good".
