| Carl Krauser comes into the 2003-04 season filling the big shoes of all-time Pitt great Brandin Knight at point guard. Krauser gained plenty of experience in the last season and will be looking to take his game to the next level. Carl has great ball-handling skills and an aggressive style of play which he demonstrates on defense.

Carl averaged 6.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.9 assists over 32 games played and was named the team's most improved player after the end of the season. Coming in off the bench in post-season play, he scored 12 points in the NCAA Tournament First Round game against Wagner and averaged 6.0 points over Pitt's three Big East Championship games.
2001-02
Krauser redshirted the 2001-02 season.
At Notre Dame Academy, Carl led his team to the Independent League title match. As a senior at St. Thomas More Prep, ESPN.com ranked Krauser among the nation's to 20 point guards and was top-100 recruit per The Sporting News and CNNSI.com. His junior year there saw him leading the team to a 31-3 overall record and the New England Prep School championship.
