Cody Larson had a great trip to Florida, so he made a verbal commitment before he left Gainesville.
made up his mind during an official visit.
The former Iowa commit out of Sioux Falls (S.D.), gave Billy Donovan and his staff at Florida a verbal pledge before leaving their campus, according to the Argus Leader.
"It's still hard to grasp that I'm a Gator," Larson told the paper. "I look forward to getting back down here and starting my college career."
A number of schools inquired about Larson, inclduing Kansas, Indiana and Michigan. Ultimately the visit is what sealed it for Larson.
"Everything about Gainesville wowed me, especially the (players) and coaches," said Larson. "Coach Donovan is going to push me to get better, and the whole experience is going to be a good challenge for me."
