Lidonde Still Available
Abdi Lidonde has hit some big shots for St. Andrews coach Mike Hart this year. The guard proved himself at the City of Palms and Slam Dunk To The Beach events in the last few months. He repeatedly makes clutch 3-pointers, especially with games on the line.
“He’s been playing extremely well,” Hart said. “I know a lot of people have been moving him up in the rankings.”
Hart said that Lidonde continues to hear from Vanderbilt, George Mason, Old Dominion, Manhattan, Rhode Island and Rider. Hart said that so far just Manhattan has offered and that was his lone official visit.
“There’s a whole bunch of other schools that have been calling but those are the ones that he talks about call me consistently.”
We think Lidonde is in no hurry and will take his time in deciding. St. Andrews begins the state tournament this week.
