Brian McFadden, 5-11 SR PG Lakewood (Calif.) Mayfair, is a smart and tough floor leader who is getting looks at the mid major level. We spoke with Brian yesterday and he told us that St. Mary's, Long Beach State, UC Riverside and Colgate are still in the mix for him. "I talked with St. Mary's today," said McFadden. "And I spoke with Long Beach State last week. St. Mary's told me they have one ride and they'll wait until the end of the season before making a decision. And Long Beach State is real interested -- they need a point guard." McFadden has been to one Long Beach State game recently and he'll attend another one next week. McFadden told us that one other school is high on his list. "I'd like to talk with San Diego as well," said McFadden.
