Folks, LeBron James wasn’t high school good on Saturday night. He was professional good. It takes a special athlete to muster up the kind of virtuoso performances he puts together almost on command.
A few weeks ago after the “Hummer Incident” he went off for a career-high 50 points. In his first performance since a court cleared him to play, he goes off for 52. If you’re at a restaurant and the service is like this, you tip the waiter. After this one, tips were most certainly in order.
The guy has charisma. It’s a gift to understand the gravity of the moment, accept the challenge and perform at the level he did tonight. Even by the high standards he’s set, this was a signature effort and one that everyone in the building appreciated.
