One of the elite center prospects in the country, 6-9 center Josh Smith from Kent (Wash.) Kentwood, told the UCLA coaching staff that he intends to be a Bruin...

Josh Smith, the #13-ranked prospect in the country, will sign a National Letter of Intent to play at UCLA, sources close to the recruitment said.

Smith, the 6-9 center from Kent (Wash.) Kentwood, chose UCLA over Washington.

He joins Tyler Lamb, the 6-4 shooting guard from Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei, as the second verbal commitment to the Bruins in the 2010 class.
