X Strikes Again
Griffin McKenzie had a heck of a summer. Playing with the Eric Gordon All-Stars, McKenzie, a 6-foot-8, 210-pound power forward, stepped up his play in front of college coaches and began scoring interest from high major programs. After listening to a host of programs, McKenzie took official visits to Northwestern and Wake Forest and went by Xavier for an unofficial visit. Vanderbilt was also under consideration. On Wednesday at a press conference at his school -- Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller -- McKenzie made his decision, and opted to stay close to home to play for Chris Mack at Xavier. McKenzie rounds out the Musketeers four man class that consists of a pair of four-star prospects -- Justin Martin and Jordan Latham -- plus another three-star prospect Jay Canty.
