LAWRENCE, Kans. -- The first day of the Jayhawk Invitational heated up early on as Harrison Barnes and Royce Woolridge went head-to-head. Ryan Harrow, Jacob Thomas and D.J. Peterson had solid days as well.

Jacob Thomas, SG, Howard Pulley – There aren't many guys in the country better at knocking down three balls than this 6-foot-3 two-guard. Thomas, a standout at Columbia Heights (Minn.) High, has a quick trigger with range that extends at least two feet behind the three-point arc. The talented shooter drained at least six threes in the Panthers opening round win. D.J.
