Singler Stays Home In Pac-10

E.J. Singler

While his brother hoops a few thousand miles away in the ACC, E.J. Singler is staying much closer to his Oregon roots.

The Oregon Ducks hosted South Medford (Ore.) High standout E.J. Singler on his official visit last weekend. According to a newspaper report, Singler is a Duck.

The 6-foot-t small forward visited Stanford and Oregon. Stanford was unable to grant him admission and Oregon moved into a leadership role for the second team all-state player.

As a junior, Singler averaged 21 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists. A three-star recruit by Scout.com, he's a heady player with a balanced game.

At Oregon he'll reconnect with director of basketball operations Josh Jamieson. Before moving to Oregon, Jamieson served as an assistant at South Medford and coach both Kyle Singler and E.J. Singler.
