After opening up his recruitment in the spring, Abdul Gaddy decided to stick with his initial. He's going to play his college ball in the Pac 10.

Abdul Gaddy is headed back to Arizona.

The 6-foot-3, 170-pound PG, who originally committed to Arizona last August, but opted to open it up during the spring, took a recent visit to Tucson (Ariz.) and decided to stick with his original commitment.

"When I first de-committed I was really unsure about the stability of the staff," Gaddy told Scout.com. "I didn’t know them so I de-committed to see if there was anything better out there. Then, Arizona came out me hard with all the guys and I became comfortable with the staff. I was also very comfortable with the UCLA coaching staff; it was really close."

Although a number of programs from across the country were interested, Gaddy’s recruitment came down to Arizona and UCLA. Both schools received visits in the past few weeks.

"Everything was similar to me and I got along with the staffs. I fit in well with the players at each school. It was great.

"It was really even so the breaking point was where my heart was at. Arizona was my favorite school and where I wanted to go and that was the deciding factor."

Gaddy is now the fourth member of the 2009 class to commit to the Wildcats. He joins a pair of Top 100 prospects in Solomon Hill and Mike Moster, as well as three-star prospect Reger Dowell.
