Matt Wilson, a center from Ravenscroft, is headed to the CAA.

Benny Moss’ roster just got a little bigger. On his way to Wilmington is 6-foot-11 senior Matt Wilson.

According to Raleigh (N.C.) Ravenscroft director of communications Penny Rogers, Wilson made up his mind on Friday.

As a junior, Wilson averaged 6.8 points and 4.2 rebounds last season. He was named to the TISAC All-Conference team.

“It’s definitely an exciting time for me, and I am very confident about my decision to attend UNC-Wilmington,” Wilson said in a release. “I feel like I can make an immediate impact right away. I would also like to thank my coach at Ravenscroft, Kevin Billerman, for helping me improve as a player and realize my dream of playing college basketball.”

In addition to UNC-Wilmington, Wilson had narrowed his list of schools to College of Charleston, Davidson, N.C. State, and South Carolina.
