Kent State Lands No. 2

Posted Nov 6, 2002

Kent State head coach Jim Christian now has a pair of recruits. He landed a forward after a successful weekend visit.

Cutley To Kent State

Demetrius Johnson was a priority for Kent State. Scott Cutley was a priority for Kent State. Next season they’ll play together.

Kent State accepted a commitment from Cutley shortly after his visit to the school. Cutley was a key player on what has been a terrific run for Los Angeles Westchester in the past three seasons. Cutley’s no stranger to playing with talented kids. Over 10 Division I players have laced them up for the Comets since his freshman year.

Cutley was targeted by Kent since the summer. He’s one of those forwards who does the little things and will get his hands dirty in the paint.
