Watson Makes His Pick

Mikel Watson, a point guard who attended the 2002 Nike All-American Camp, reached a decision. He’s going to play in the Mountain West Conference.

Watson Picks Cowboys

The Wyoming Cowboys hosted Mikel Watson on their campus last weekend. A few days later, he’s a Cowboy. Watson officially visited Long Beach State and San Francisco and Boise State was in the mix as well.

Since the summer, Watson has added close to 15 pounds and now checks in at 165. He’s got range on his jumper and is slated to eventually play point guard for the Cowboys.

In addition to Watson, the Cowboys own a commitment from Jarrod Boswell. We think Wyoming goes for a forward and likely from the juco ranks at this juncture.
