What we reported earlier is now official. St. Frances Academy shooting guard Sean Mosley today…
Mosley Headed To ACC
The Maryland Terrapins needed the injection of a local wing player and on Wednesday Gary Williams's team received it. Sean Mosley, a gritty and tough guard out of Baltimore St. Frances picked the Terps over Syracuse and Florida State. "It was important to get some pressure of my back going into the school year," Scout.com's No. 40 prospect said. "It's important to get some playing time as a freshman. "Back when Juan Dixon was playing, I always liked the intensity the crowd brings each and every game." Mosley's been high on Maryland, behind the scenes, for a while. However, only recently did he achieve the comfort level needed to make the pledge. "Me and my dad were talking to Gary Williams and Keith Booth on the phone. I felt comfortable with the coaches and I felt close with them. I talked to Coach Williams briefly yesterday and told him the decision. He said he felt good about me committing to Maryland. He told me to keep working and everything will fall into place." Maryland's recruiting class is beginning to take shape. In fact, it's looking like one of the Terps strongest efforts since the national title season. In addition to Mosley, the Terps have a signature frontcourt player in Terrance Jennings, rated as the No. 3 post grad recruit by Scout.com and one of the big time centers in the nation. "I need some more guards and bigs. I'm going to see what I can do from the Baltimore area here."
