The impact of the post-graduate basketball player grows with each passing season. Next year Justin Burrell will arrive on St. John’s campus as the nation’s top-ranked post-graduate player. Scout.com offers up this list of the 25 best from the Class of 2007.

The Big East didn’t sign the most Top 100 players from Scout.com’s Class of 2007. However, the league exerted itself in the prep school ranks. As a conference, the Big East outpaced every major league in America when it came to preps. Together, the teams in the league signed 8 players from the Scout.com Top 25 Post-Graduate list.

Maybe it’s the geography of the schools or the region the kids hail from but there’s no doubt the Big East is best when it comes to the preps.

Checking in at No. 2 on the list was the SEC. Five different SEC teams plucked prep school players, led by Tennessee which recycled Georgia native Cameron Tatum into its recruiting class; Tatum ranked No. 9 in the Top 25.
