Jayhawk Invitational: Day 3 Rundown

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Championship day at the Jayhawk Invitational proved to be a busy one for the KC Pump ‘N Run organization. LJ Goolsby's program successfully defended titles in both the 16U and 17U divisions and fell in the semifinals of the 15U division. As the thunder rumbled outside, players from 2008, 2009, 2010 and even 2011 were busy shaking the rims inside Allen Fieldhouse.

Marcus Denmon, SG, KC Pump ‘N Run- Because of issues with his morning ride, the 6-3 guard missed a quarterfinal game Sunday morning. After that, he had to watch from the bench for a half in the semis. Despite the lost time, the live bodied wing continued a terrific spring. He's a bucket maker and caught fire late during the finals as Howard Pulley looked to mount a comeback. Denver Holmes...
