According to the Indianapolis Star,, Matt Howard will play for the Butler Bulldogs.
The 6-foot-7 power forward out of Connersville High, selected the program after strongly considering Xavier, Indiana and Miami-OH.
“They had a good situation for me,” Howard told the paper. “I felt it was a great fit for them, and they were a great fit for me.”
All throughout the process, Howard indicated that attending the biggest school wouldn’t necessarily be the best fit for him. In picking Butler over a handful of bigger programs, Howard remained true to his word.
Known for his bruising style of play, he’ll be expected to play a major role in for Butler.
