The inaugural New England Elite 75 Showcase, which will feature the top players from all across the six states in New England, will be held two weeks from today (Wed., Aug. 16) at Mass Premiere Courts in Foxboro, Mass.
The event will include nearly all of the elite players from New England – and will feature all age groups - playing against one another in the afternoon. More than 20 of the elite players from Massachusetts and Connecticut, along with a dozen from Rhode Island and a half-dozen of the best players from Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont will be in attendance.
There will be shooting contests in the morning and eight coaches (prep school, high school and former college) on hand to coach each of the eight teams.
Among the coaches expected to attend are Winchendon’s Mike Byrnes, Brewster Academy’s Jason Smith, Notre Dame Prep’s Bill Barton, Bridgton Academy’s Whit Lesure, new Charlestown High (Mass.) coach Steve Cassidy, former Wright State head coach Paul Biancardi, East Catholic’s (Conn.) Luke Reilly, Northwest Catholic’s (Conn.) John Marabello and former Wisconsin assistant coach and Boston native Shawn Hood.
Scout.com will be in attendance and will profile the top 10 players at the camp after the event.
