Frank Otis, 6-5 SO PF Oakland (Calif.) McClymond’s, is a strong, if somewhat undersized, post player with good hops and a knack for scoring around the basket.
We spoke with Otis recently and asked him about the schools expressing interest in him.
“I’m getting mail from schools like UCLA, USC, Gonzaga, Arizona, Pepperdine, Texas Tech, Oregon State, San Jose State and Utah,” said Otis. “Oregon State, Pepperdine and San Jose State have been out to my school.”
We asked Otis what he is looking for in a school.
“I’m looking for someplace with a real cool coach and a nice campus,” said Otis. “I’d like to stay somewhere close to home, probably on the West Coast.”
Otis said he isn’t looking to make a decision anytime soon.
“I want to take my time with it,” said Otis.
Otis told us he has a 3.0 GPA.
