Roundball Classic Rosters

The rosters for the 42nd Roundball Classic were released this week. Sonny Vaccaro’s event once again features some of the elite players from across the country.

The Roundball Classic, in its 42nd year, has come a long way since Sonny Vaccaro put the showcase on the map back in 1965.

“I didn’t know anybody and, of course, nobody knew me. I was just a young guy with a dream,” Vaccaro said.

Now, 20 young men with big dreams, will descend on Chicago April 9th to play in Sonny’s Roundball Classic. The event is comprised of mainly kids from the Reebok circuit, including the nation’s top player, Greg Oden.

The game will be played at the United Center and has featured such stars as LeBron James, Kevin Garnett and Kobe Bryant in the past.
