Bennett Looking At Options

With the change in leadership at Cincinnati, Jason Bennett is taking a look around at his options.

Jason Bennett (pictured), Scout.com’s No. 47-rated prospect, is having to re-adjust his collegiate thinking in the wake of the resignation of Bob Huggins.

Cincinnati was previously very strong with Bennett and was considered the behind-the-scenes leader for some time. However, Huggins soon to be out of the picture and the future of the program yet to be decided, Bennett will look elsewhere.

“He had a special bond with Coach Huggins,” ACD coach Rex Morgan said.

Last weekend, Bennett took an unofficial visit to Clemson. Miami, Georgia and Connecticut are being considered.

“What we’ll do now,” Morgan said, “is that he’s taking the ACT the 22nd and he’ll take his visits in October before the season starts.”
