The third member of the vaunted Atlanta Celtics frontline made his decision Thursday night. Randolph Morris is headed to Kentucky.

At a restaurant in Atlanta, Landmark Christian senior center Randolph Morris made it official: he’s a Wildcat. Morris selected Kentucky over Georgia Tech his hometown school where his brother was a manager for this year’s team.

"I'm happy for Randolph because he has some options and opportunities," Landmark Christian coach Bryan Bartley told the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Morris’ commitment brings significant fanfare to Lexington. At this point, the Wildcats will have signed three players who will appear amongst our final 15 in the Class of 2005.

Morris ranks amongst the top 10 prospects in America. He’ll be joined in Lexington by shooting guard Joe Crawford and point guards Rajon Rondo and Ramel Bradley. Crawford, Morris and Rondo were McDonald’s All-Americans. Gaining eligibility next season will be former Western Kentucky star Patrick Sparks.

With a nod of approval to Texas for its class that also contains three Burger Game participants; the UK-bound contingent comprises the top recruiting class in America.
