The secret is out. On ESPN Thursday the team was announced to a national audience. It was an easy year to pick the team given the talent in the Class of 2004.

The selection committee for the McDonald’s All-American game did a nice job this year. There’s always room for debate, but for the most part I find it hard to nitpick at the selection. A strong case can be made for Tello Palacios and some others.

Regardless, it’s an excellent field and the very best high school stars are represented.
