Fells To Big West

Darren Fells, 6-6 SR PF Fullerton (Calif.) High, committed to UC Irvine yesterday.

"I like they way they run their program," said Fells. "It's a good area and a good school."

Fells is also a very good football player, but he decided he will play basketball exclusively in college.

The other finalist in his recruitment was Cal State Fullerton.
