Montrose Christian center Tunji Soroye has been a busy guy on the visit trail. Whether or not he signs this fall is up the air. Here’s the latest.

Nigerian native Tunji Soroye, a 6-10 center who plays at Montrose Christian, has been a little busy lately. His last two weekends had him off campus on official visits to Clemson and Virginia.

“He’s going to be the sleeper of the year in my opinion,” Montrose assistant David Adkins said. “If he doesn’t do anything this fall I think he’ll really blow up. He’s 6-10, athletic and can block shots.”

Adkins is probably right. With the number of available prospects dwindling on a daily basis, Soroye’s stock can only go up. He has offers from Old Dominion and Virginia Commonwealth already.

“He’s visited Clemson and Virginia but he’s not going to have much time to do anything else because we start Saturday.”
