Seahawks coach Brad Brownell got himself a player this week. The third member this week of the Martin Bros. franchise reached a college decision.

The UNC-Wilmington Seahawks landed themselves a good prospect this week. Dylan Grimsley, a swingman, committed to head coach Brad Brownell.

Grimsley, accustomed to winning big on the AAU circuit, liked the same trait that he saw in the Seahawks. “I think it’s been their winning tradition [that made a difference]. That’s something that’s really important to me. I have legitimate hopes of making it to the NCAA’s every year.”

He visited last weekend and it didn’t take long to reach his decision.

“They were just completely at another level,” Grimsley said. “Coach Donlon, I feel like I know him better than any other coach that recruited me. They’ve been there the longest and have shown the most attention.”

And they were rewarded for their efforts.
