T.J. Lang, who signed with Virginia Tech while James Johnson was the head coach, received a release from his Letter of Intent on Tuesday.

Lang confirmed the news to Scout.com.

"I signed to VT early, so I'm waiting on schools to start calling again since I just got released from my NLI," Lang told Scout.com.

At this time, Lang doesn't have a list of schools he's considering.

The Mobile (Ala.) McGill-Toolen standout averaged 19 points and eight rebounds a game as a senior.
