Ever since Lyle de-committed from Louisville and opened up his recruitment, the Oregon Ducks have been a fixture. Assistant Coach Tony Stubblefield built a strong relationship with the five-star floor general, and in the end it was the relationship with Stubblefield and Head Coach Dana Altman that put the Ducks over the top for his pledge.
"Next year I am going to attend the Univeristy of Oregon and be a Duck," said Lyle while donning an Oregon hat and shirt.
Lyle, who had a tremendous senior season at Huntington Prep, was the top point guard available in the spring signing period. At the end of the day, Oregon won out over offers from Kansas, Memphis, and Oklahoma State among others.
This is a big pick up for the Ducks, and it gives them one of the better classes in the Pac 12, with a star like Lyle heading things up.
