Three-star wing Peyton Allen developed into one of the most heavily recruited prospects in the Midwest during the late signing period in the 2014 class. However after picking up some high level offers and interest, Allen decided to end up his recruitment and head to the SEC.
"I have officially committed to Texas A&M," announced Allen on his personal twitter account.
A 6-foot-5 guard who can really shoot it, Allen picked up double figure high-major offers as of late, but it was the Aggies that were the first to offer him, and that proved to be the difference.
Allen had a significant amount of comfort with the team and the coaching staff, and that led to him selecting the SEC school.
Allen joins a solid class and adds another dimension for the Aggies giving them a dangerous shooter with some athleticism as well on the wing.
