Myles Turner nearly recorded a triple-double in Euless (Tex.) Trinity's win over Spring (Tex.) HCYA on national television on Thursday.

Myles Turner put on quite a show Thursday night.

Turner and his Euless (Tex.) Trinity team knocked off Spring (Tex.) HCYA and Justin Jackson on ESPNU Thursday evening by a score of 57-53. Turner finished with 29 points, 15 rebounds and nine blocks.

Although HCYA didn't have a strong post defender to challenge Turner, he strung together one of the strongest outings I've seen from him.

Offensively, Turner showed his versatility. He faced up and hit jumpers from both mid-range and three, but he also showed confidence in his back to the basket game and dropped in multiple jump hooks.

On the opposite end, Turner, who is ranked No. 2 overall in the 2014 class, actively protected the rim. He was quick off his feet, controlled the paint and was a dominant defensive presence from a shot blocking standpoint.

John Calipari and Billy Kennedy were both in the stands for Turner. Duke and Texas dispatched assistant coaches for the game.

To go with Kentucky, Texas A&M, Duke and Texas, Turner is also considering Oklahoma State, Ohio State, who he has visited, SMU, Arizona and Kansas. Turner is officially visiting Oklahoma State this weekend.

Although HYCA lost, North Carolina's Justin Jackson still put together a solid performance. Jackson scored 29 points. While he took a good amount of shots, Jackson showed his mid-range game and dropped in a handful of floaters.
