Wichita State lands athletic forward

One of the more athletic and tough power forwards left in the 2014 class made his decision tonight.

There isn't a ton left uncommitted in the class of 2014, and on Wednesday evening one of the best power forwards on the board made his commitment. 6-foot-7 power forward Eric Hamilton made his choice.

Over the summer playing with the Georgia Southern Kings, Hamilton really emerged. A tough and undersized four-man, Hamilton proved that he can be very productive against the best of the best.

Watching him at the Best of the South event, Wichita State began to prioritize Hamilton, and according to multiple sources on Wednesday he pulled the trigger and picked the Missouri Valley Conference school.

With his athleticism and high motor, Hamilton is someone who should find his way onto the floor early for the Shockers.

Hamilton will now pair with three-star forward Rashard Kelly to give Wichita State one of the toughest and most athletic forwards outside of a high-major conference.
