The Saint Louis Billikens added another piece to the puzzle on Wednesday night when Miles Reynolds issued his commitment to the school. The Chicago (Ill) Whitney Young standout made the decision to pick the Atlantic 10 school over the LSU Tigers.
At 6-foot-1 with the ability to knock down shots and solid athleticism, Reynolds is one of the top guards in the state of Illinois. Playing alongside some of the top players in the nation, Reynolds has never been asked to carry the team, but he did do enough to get noticed.
Saint Louis and LSU made him a priority, but at the end of the day following an in-home visit with Jim Crews and company earlier in the week, Reynolds figured the school was right for him.
“Blessed to say that next year I will be a Student-Athlete at Saint Louis University,” said Reynolds on his Twitter account. “Thanks to everyone that has supported me!”
This is a key commitment for St. Louis which targeted Reynolds from day one before him coming to a final decision.
Reynolds adds to a solid backcourt class which includes point guard Marcus Bartley and combo guard Davell Roby. All three players are considered three-star prospects.
