The list was at nine, and now it is down to five for four-star forward Makinde London.

One of the biggest risers this spring and summer was Makinde London. Now the Montverde (Fla.) Academy forward is down to five schools according to D13 Elite AAU Coach Dominique Redding.

"Makinde is considering Florida, Miami, Mississippi State, VCU, and Xavier," said Redding.

At almost 6-foot-10 with guard skills, London impressed with his athleticism and ability to play inside and out over the summer. In fact London is just now scratching the surface how good he can be.

At the moment Florida is the only school that hasn't offered London a scholarship, but the Gators will get a close look at him now that he is at Montverde and will likely decide on an offer after seeing him workout during the fall.

Official visits haven't been set up yet according to Redding, but they are in the process of working those out.

Currently London is the No. 19 power forward and the No. 96 player overall in the class of 2014.
