Top 100 prospects are flying off the board.
Ishmail Wainright, a standout at Rockville (Md.) Montrose Christian, is the latest to make his college choice, committing to Baylor late Thursday night.
Wainright confirmed the news to Scout.com.
"This was the biggest decision of my life and I feel I've made a great one with the help of my family," Wainright told Scout.com about picking Baylor.
A native of Kansas City (Mo.), Wainright chose the Bears over Ohio State, where he visited officially, St. John's, Texas and a host of other high major programs.
The strongly built 6-foot-5 wing is a versatile prospect that brings quite a few intangibles to the table. He's a very good athlete that defends his position and rebounds well. He makes plays in transition and also finishes well at the rim.
Baylor now has a pair of recruits in their 2013 class. Wainright joins the No. 16 center in the country -- Jonathan Motely -- to make up their current class.
Wainright is ranked No. 49 overall and as the No. 11 small forward in the 2013 class.
