Josh Hart will announce his college choice on Wednesday.
A top 100 prospect out of Washington (D.C.) Sidwell Friends, Hart recently narrowed his list of schools to Villanova, Rutgers and Penn State. He's taken visits to all three remaining schools.
Last week Hart broke down his three finalists to Scout.com's Brian Snow.
Penn State: I have a good relationship with the coaches. I have known them for about two years and the relationship I have with them is the deciding factor. They have been on me since day one.
Rutgers: I like the coaching staff, Coach (Mike) Rice reminds me of Keith Stevens, he has that passion and that edge to him. He is going to make you uncomfortable and get the best out of you and then he will always be in your corner at the end of the day. Also their style of play fits me really well. Also their players are great on and off the court.
Villanova: They have been there for a while now. With everything with me and people thinking I was going to Georgetown a lot of people backed off, but they always stood by me and trying to build a relationship. They have recruited the right way and haven’t negatively recruited at all. I think they are real high character guys, and the way they develop guards is great.
If Hart were to select Villanova, he would be the second D.C. area product to commit to Wildcats in the 2013 class. They already hold a pledge from Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga standout Kris Jenkins.
Penn State already holds commitments from a trio of three-star recruits -- Geno Thorpe, Julian Moore and Payton Banks. Rutgers doesn't currently have a pledge from the 2013 class.
Hart, a four-star prospect, is expected to make his decision public Wednesday afternoon. Hart is ranked No. 87 overall in the 2013 class.
