Ron Patterson was the first member of the 2012 class to commit to the Indiana Hoosiers. The three-star guard enrolled at Indiana, however before the start of the fall semester was released from his letter of intent. Now Patterson has decided to open things back up.
Four year division I programs such as Purdue, Cincinnati, Xavier, Providence, and numerous others all reached out to Patterson hoping he would join their program in the 2012 class, but the 6-foot-3 guard deciding to choose a different route.
Citing development both on and off the court, Patterson has decided to enroll at Wolfeboro (NH) Brewster Academy for the 2012 school year, and will now be a member of the class of 2013.
Known as an excellent on ball defender and athlete, Patterson is going to focus on improving his ball handling as well as becoming a more consistent shooter during his year at Brewster.
Already schools such as Virginia Tech, Kansas State, Ball State, Cleveland State, and Illinois have reached out to express interest in Patterson as a member of their 2013 class.
Look for Patterson to take a significant look at all of his options and playing out the season before coming to a decision on which college to attend.
