Arizona State gets 2013 wing

Egor Koulechov

Arizona State picked up their first 2013 verbal commitment. Egor Koulechov, a native of Florida, popped for the Sun Devils.

Arizona State picked up a 2013 commitment on Wednesday.

Egor Koulechov, of Weston (Fla.) Sagemont, verbally pledged to Herb Sendek and his staff at Arizona State just a week after taking an unofficial visit to the school.

Sagemont coach Adam Ross confirmed the news to Scout.com.

"When he went on the visit he liked the facilities and the opportunity to play in the PAC-12, plus they have a business school," Ross told Scout.com.

To go with Arizona State, Koulechov also considered Richmond, Providence, UAB and Rutgers.

"I think they did an incredible job recruiting him," Ross said of Arizona State. "Scott Pera led the charge. Between Scott and coach Sendek they were here six times during the year."

Koulechov is Arizona State's first 2013 commit.
