Originally a member of the 2011 class, Markus Crider from Huber Heights, Ohio was off to play for Providence. However after a coaching change at the school Crider headed to prep school.
This year while at North Bridgton (ME) Academy Crider entertained a variety of interest including St. Bonaventure, Georgia State, and George Mason.
However at the end of the day decision came down to fit, and Crider liked what he saw with Georgia State.
"I have committed to Georgia State," said Crider via text message. "R.J. Hunter is like a little brother to me, and I think we can be great on the court together.
Hunter, who is the son of head coach Ron Hunter, is a fellow three-star wing. Crider and Hunter together should give Georgia State a lot of fire power from the forward spot.
