The Mississippi State Bulldogs are on the board with another commitment, this time in the 2013 class. On Wednesday evening I.J. Ready, an 5-foot-10 point guard, issued his commitment to Rick Ray.
A class of 2013 prospect, Ready initially had committed to Nebraska under the leadership of Doc Sadler, but he then opened up his recruitment after the coaching. Now Ready has decided that Mississippi State is the right place for him to continue his basketball career.
"Yes I have committed to Mississippi State," said Ready.
According to Ready the entire culture at Mississippi State is what he was looking for. It started with Rick Ray and went all the way down the line.
"Mississippi State is a great fit for me," said Ready. "They play my style of game and Head Coach Rick Ray along with his staff made me feel at home. It is a place where I know I will love to play next four years."
This is the first commitment for Ray and company in the 2013 class. The point guard from Arkansas runs with the Arkansas Hawks during the AAU season.
