2014 Intro: Connor MacDougall

Connor MacDougall

Connor MacDougall was impressive last weekend at the Double Pump Spring Classic. Here's an intro to his game and recruitment.

One of the more intriguing prospects in the state of Arizona is 6-foot-8, 220-pound Phoenix Desert Vista 2014 power forward Connor MacDougall.

The rising junior is a mobile big man with a good frame and does a nice job finishing around the basket and rebounding.

"I'm pretty strong underneath the basket, I'm pretty good at boxing out, I get lots of boards and my goal is to make my team better and do what I can for the team," MacDougall says.

"I'd like to get my ball handling and shot a little better. I can shoot well now but I'd like to get better at it."

MacDougall has heard from Arizona State and Boston College thus far and even though he's wide open, he did have a school he watched growing up.

"I live in Arizona so of course U of A has always been on my radar but right now I'm just trying to play and keep my options open," he said.

There isn't anything too specific MacDougall will be looking for in a school.

"Wherever I fit right, whatever makes sense and wherever I can play to the best of my potential," he said.
