The Maryland Terrapins once again have three-star guard Sam Cassell Jr. as part of their recruiting class, as Saturday night the NBA legacy decided to re-issue his commitment to the school.
The Fitchburg (Mass.) Notre Dame Prep standout and Baltimore native committed to the Terrapins at the end of March, only to open his recruitment in the same week at the request of his father.
After making visits to Pittsburgh and South Florida, and getting the blessing of his father, Cassell decided again Maryland was the right place for him.
By committing to the Terrapins, Cassell is the sixth commitment in the class, a class that is one of the best in the nation.
