Thomas enrolls at Chipola

Chris Thomas, who recently left South Kent (Conn.) School, has opted to forgo his final high school season and enroll in a junior college.

Chris Thomas has done his fair share of bouncing around high schools.

The talented wing started his high school career in Colorado before making his way to Bowie (Md.) Princeton Day Academy.

Then Thomas enrolled at Phoenix (Ariz.) Westwind Prep. Once Westwind transitioned to a new school, Thomas made his way to South Kent (Conn.) School for his junior year.

After leaving the school two weeks ago, Thomas, who was classified as a 2013 prospect, opted to end his high school career and enroll at Chipola Junior College to play for head coach Jake Headrick.

Headrick confirmed the news to Scout.com.

Thomas, a 6-foot-5 wing prospect, was one of the best all around scorers in the junior class. He was ranked No. 10 in the 2013 class when he opted to go the JUCO route.
