Jodan Price started his basketball career at Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence Central High School before moving to Detroit (Mich.) Country Day to finish up his career. After a strong summer playing AAU basketball with The Family, Price is now off the board to DePaul.
Price confirmed this news himself via text message stating, “Yes I committed.”
AAU Coach Marlon Williamson added, “We talked about the decision last night, and DePaul is a good spot for him and he will be in maybe the best conference in the country.
At 6-foot-7 with a great shooting stroke, Price proved to be one of the best shot makers all summer on the Nike EYBL. He had several high level performances at the Peach Jam, which lifted his recruitment to a new level.
Along with DePaul, Price also had interest from Minnesota, Duquesne, Northwestern, St. Joseph’s, and many others.
Now Price is the second commitment in the class for DePaul. He joins another Indiana native, DeJuan Marrero, as pledges for Coach Oliver Purnell.
