There are some strong ties between B.J. Stith and the Virginia Cavaliers.
On Saturday, during an unofficial visit the ties to the Virignia program won out. Stith, a 2014 prospect, is the son of Bryant Stith, Virginia's all-time lead scoring.
The younger Stith committed to Tony Bennett's program over interest from a handful of high major programs.
Ty White confirmed the news.
"That was his dream school," White told Scout.com. "That's what he wanted to do from the get go."
Stith, who fell just outside Scout.com's top 25 rankings, is a talented wing prospect that made a major impact for the Team Loaded 15's squad this summer.
"He has a chance to be really special," White said. "He's long, athletic, can handle and can score and defend."
