As we inch closer to the early signing period, more and more 2012 prospects are making college commitments. Here's our early look at the 2012 recruiting class rankings.

Villanova class: Nova finds itself in the top five because of a pair of top 50 recruits. Ochefu is an improving and active big man, while Arcidiacono knows how to run a team

Baylor class: For the third year in a row Baylor has a five-star prospect in their recruiting class. Austin is one of the top post prospects and has a ridiculous ceiling

Duke class: Duke has had some good guards in recent years and this year they'll add another five-star guard that shoots it at a high level from behind the stripe

UCLA class: UCLA was able to reel in one of the most improved lead guards guard in the 2011 class -- Dominic Artis -- as well as pick up a major scoring threat in Jordan Adams

Providence class: Dunn has emerged as the top lead guard in the country and is a massive pick up for the Friars. Could he be the one to get more of the top New Englanders to head to Providence?

Mississippi State class: Mississippi State is usually successful recruiting the south and this year is no different. Ware is the top recruit, but Thomas, Gray and Sword have strong reps in the south too

18 Michigan

Michigan class: Michigan took Robinson early and it paid off, as he's one of the most improved players in the country. They also have a perfect fit in Stauskas, who can rip the nets from long range

St. John's class: St. John's continued their recruiting success by going out of the region to snag top 50 recruit Gathers and then added and athletic wing in Wood

Maryland class: Mark Turgeon is off to a great start as the Maryland head coach. They worked Cleare hard and he's a massive pick up, while they will keep a local kid -- Seth Allen -- home
