Isaiah Hicks, a five-star prospect at Raleigh (N.C.) Body of Christ, made his college choice late Monday night.

It only took a couple for hours for Isaiah Hicks to come to a decision.

Shortly after an unofficial visit to UNC, where Hicks picked up a scholarship offer, Hicks called Roy Williams and gave him a verbal commitment.

Hicks tweeted his announcement and outside sources also confirmed the decision.

Shortly after picking up the scholarship offer this evening, Darryl Harris, the Body of Christ coach, said Hicks was thrilled with the offer.

"Isaiah smiled," Harris said of Hicks's reaction to the offer. "He's not going to talk a whole lot, but if he's smiling ear to ear he's excited."

A five-star prospect, Hicks is ranked No. 13 overall in the 2013 class.

Hicks is North Carolina's first pledge in the 2013 class.
