The Texas Longhorns added a commitment to their 2011 class in the form of Jaylen Bond.

Originally Jaylen Bond was headed to the Big East to play for the Pittsburgh Panthers in the 2011 class. Now however there has been a change of plans.

The 6-foot-8 and 210 pound Bond will take his game halfway across the country and will suit up for the Texas Longhorns.

Bond announced his decision to attend Texas on his twitter account, saying "Just committed to Texas, thank God for this opportunity."

Bond will enroll as a member of the 2011 class after previously thinking he was going to re-classify and be a part of the 2012 class.
